Dr. Santhiran Ramasamy

Group Managing Director

Dr. Santhiran brings with him 30 years of experience in the field of education as he has spent a great number of years working in the management sector. He is an expert in the fields of Leadership in Education, Business Strategy & Quality Assurance, Compliance and Sustainable Profitability.

He has been a key player in turning around the recruitment market for education institutions, both domestically and internationally. He has secured countless international and transnational franchise agreements for higher education institutions in the Asian, Middle Eastern and African markets. Dr. Santhiran has held various Senior Management and Development roles in colleges, university colleges and full-fledged universities.

Dr. Santhiran has also been conducting industrial training for the past 15 years within Malaysia and abroad in the fields of logistics, supply chain management, educational training and international trade education. He obtained his Masters’ degree in Marketing from the University of Northumbria, UK and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He also obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and completed his DBA from University of Information Technology and Management (UITM), Poland. He also sits in the Advisory Boards of a few colleges and universities.

One of my greatest achievements will be the journey I undertook; from a general clerk, I have propelled myself to be the director of my own company. With SRIM’s background, founded by experienced shareholders and directors, I believe we can bring our company to the next level in education and training providers.
Malathi Nadaraja

Malathi Nadaraja

Group Senior Director

Malathi was born in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and and worked as an administrator in Stamford College. She enhanced her knowledge by pursuing multiple Diplomas in the fields of Information Technology, Secretarial Studies and Administration at Stamford College, Kuala Lumpur.

From being an administrator, she worked her way up and was appointed as the Senior Administrator at Stamford College, handling the entire administration work flow and documentation for Northumbria University degree programs. Malathi then pursued her career at RIMA College, where she led the local student recruitment team and international student recruitment through effective communication with foreign agents. After serving 3 years at RIMA College, she was appointed as the General Manager at Legenda Education Group for 4 years, supervising the sales and recruitment of international students in terms of recruitment and visa matters.

After cultivating years of experience in multiple education institutions, Malathi was then positioned as the Group Senior Manager at MAHSA University Group. She was successfully leading several teams in the business development sector and strategic alliance while collaborating with foreign institutions and providing education for both domestic and international students. Currently, she is the Group Senior Director for SRIM Group.

Born in the heart of Malaysia, Tee coincidentally stumbled upon education and found his purpose in education by helping students looks for their suitable courses and achieving their goals. Tee has 15 years of experience in the education industry especially in relations to international marketing and student affairs. He is also an experienced individual in the field of student’s pastoral care. With his friendly nature, Tee prepares them and guides them for personal and professional success in the global world.

He has also proven his mettle by successfully managing an accommodation and placement project valued at RM5 million of a leading private university. He also has vast experience in recruitment and training in the Southeast Asian and China markets.

He obtained his first degree in Technology in Business Administration from Swinburne University, Australia.

Dr. Che An Ahmad

Dr. Che An Ahmad started as a registered nurse in 1974 and 5 years later was selected as a nurse educator at University Malaya Medical Centre. After graduating with BNSc majoring in education, she was appointed as the Head of Diploma Program in UMMC. She joined Open University in 2009 as Dean of School of Nursing and as Director of Petaling Jaya Learning Centre for 3 years. Thereafter, she joined City University College as the Chief Operating Officer cum Dean School of Nursing & Health Science and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at MAHSA until December 2019.

Dr. Che An Ahmad is involved in developing curriculum for conventional and online distant learning for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. She conducted workshops on teaching methodology, clinical teaching as well as present papers in seminars and conferences both at national and international level. She was also the speaker for national and international conferences and also supervised post graduate students. Her vision is to elevate Malaysian Nurses not only having current knowledge and skill but also with higher academic qualification.

She obtained her RN, RM, CCU from Kuala Lumpur Hospital and has a Certificate in Teaching, while she obtained her BNSc Malaysian University (UM) later. She also holds a Master of Science in Health Science UM and pursued her PhD in Open University Malaysia (OUM) later on. She is also a renowned MQA Assessor and Certified HRDF Trainer.

I believe that learning is not attained by mere chance; it must be sought for with courage and tenacity. Only then will you be able to appreciate the sweet fruits of knowledge and understanding.

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Kalaivani Chellappan

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Kalaivani Chellappan

Dr. Kalaivani currently is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She has been with UKM since 2011. Her research specialist is in Healthcare Engineering. She has over 25 years of experience in engineering and education within the public and private sectors. Her work in the field of Healthcare Engineering research has rewarded her with various international awards from Spain, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

She is also a Committee Member in the National and International Conferences in the area of Biomedical Engineering, Computer & Communication Engineering, Signal Processing, Multimedia & Information Technology and Tele-Medicine in the last 10 years. She has a total of 139 publications consisting of 47 journals and 38 proceedings. Dr. Kalaivani has filed 10 IPs in UKM as part of her research contrition.

Dr. Kalaivani has been appointed as an external examiner for MSc and PhD by both national and international universities since 2013. Her research interests are in interdisciplinary researches in the areas of Cardiovascular Engineering Modelling, Internet of Things (IoT) in Healthcare and Data Modelling & Analytics. Her interdisciplinary approach has initiated industrial collaborated R&D. She is also passionate and actively participate in STEM and TVET pedagogy design for IR 4.0 & 21st Century education.

The human mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be ignited with the torch of knowledge. Education is the fire that will ignite the young minds of the world to build and thrive for a better tomorrow.

Dr Subramaniam Karuppannan

Dr Subramaniam Karuppannan

Dr. Subramaniam is an experienced environment health and safety (EHS)consultant. Prior to that, he was a professor and a former Head, Environmental Health and Safety Department in UiTM and MAHSA University. He has contributed 35 years in government service as well as in academia both at public and private institutions of higher learning. He has also worked in the industrial sector for 20 years and had been involved in training and consultancy sector for the past 15 years.

Between 2006 to 2016, he has completed many research projects along with 4 grants from FRGS in UiTM. He was also an EHS consultant for 11 studies conducted with private sector grants. These projects involved projects in knowledge transfer, EIA studies along with OSH and Industrial Hygiene assessments.

He has also published various journal articles related to environmental health and is a member of various elite organizations in Malaysia and overseas. He has also published in various conferences and seminars in Malaysia and overseas(Australia, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Pakistan and Thailand). He had coordinated ecological study expedition to Royal Belum Perak, and Endau Rompin, Pahang from 2011 to 2012. He also coordinated for UiTM the Tree Planting at Raja Musa Forest Reserve with GEC and Tree for Life programs. Currently, he teaches the graduate and post-graduate programs in UiTM, UPM, UM and OUM. He is also a trainer for HRDF, NIOSH, UiTMTech, MAEH, MIHA, ENSEARCH and MSWME (among many others).

Islamic teachings has opened my mind to understand that greatest gift given to mankind is the mind. It is my purpose to instil and oversee the faith of Islam is kept alive in all my teachings and undertakings. This ensures the good faith of all Muslims is kept safe is delivered as promised.

Md. Yunus bin Abd. Aziz

Md. Yunus bin Abd. Aziz

Md. Yunus Abd Aziz is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). He obtained his first degree in Syariah, University of Malaya, and pursued his Masters’ degree in Fiqh and Usul Al-Fiqh at Al Al-Bayt University, Jordan.

He has a vast experience in the field of Al Ijtihad Wa Manahij Al Fuqaha, Al Madkhal Ila, Al Fiqh Wa Al Fatawa, Usul Al Fiqh, Al Qawaid Al Fiqhiyyah, Fiqh Al Ibadat, Fiqh Al Munakahat and Fiqh Al Muamalat. Besides being a Member of the Shariah Advisors to Bank Rakyat and Rakyat Holdings, he is also one of the Shariah Advisory Committee of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and Staff Cooperative USIM. He holds professional membership in several organizations, namely the Association of Shariah Advisors in Islamic Finance Malaysia, Academic Staff Association of Universiti Malaysia, and Member of the Shariah Audit Panel MS 1900:2014, USIM.

Yunus is also actively involved in social and community activities by taking up positions such as Chairman of Surau At-Taqwa Bandar Baru Nilai, Deputy Chairman of the Anggerik Rural Residents Association, Putra Nilai, Committee Member of Surau Desa Anggerik Development Project, Putra Nilai, and Board Member of USIM Staff Cooperative.

The knowledge of Islam is the birth right of all those who choose to live by the rules of Allah SWT and his divine words. Interpreting His teachings has brought peace to my students, and in their peace, I have found mine.

Mohammad Khawarizmi bin Mohamad Fadzli

Mohammad Khawarizmi bin Mohamad Fadzli

Mohamad Khawarizmi Bin Mohamad Fadzli has extensive experience teaching the Islamic religion from primary to tertiary education. He received his early education at Tarbiah Diniah Religious Secondary School and Daeratul Maarifil Wataniah Religious Secondary School. Khawarizmi then pursued his studies at Al-Azhar University, Egypt, in Syariah, Islamic Law.

Initially, he was a substitute teacher at SK Lahar and SK Desa Murni and subsequently assumed the position of Chief Imam at Surau An-Nur, Bandar Saujana Putra until now. He was also a guest instructor at MAHSA University in the “Skills and Career Training” program from 2017-2019.

Mohamad Khawarizmi is well-knowledgeable in Syariah, Knowledge of Tauhid, Feqah, Tasaauf, and Al Quran. He leads religious ceremonies such as Qurban, Tahlil, Funeral Matters, and various other religious ceremonies professionally and professionally. In addition, he has assisted in providing religious guidance to the parish residents in the weekly and monthly study programs at Surau An-Nur.
